My today’s illustration conveys the anger and shame I feel towards those who control Greece like a puppet. It’s truly disgraceful! In 2004, we achieved a great success with the Olympic Games, constructing those wonderful facilities using our own money, the money of the hardworking Greek people. Our nation always strives to be self-reliant. If it weren’t those disloyal individuals who sell Greece whenever they can, Greece could be a shining star, enlightening entire societies. It could be a powerful nation.
We might have to bid farewell forever to our Calatrava Stadium. It’s no longer functional, and it’s forbidden to enter because its roof is about to collapse. Why did we assign this project to someone who’s the only one who knows how it was built?
They say it’s challenging to repair it because we don’t have instructions! After the Olympics and all the millions it cost, they left it to deteriorate…
…If only we had a fraction of the strength of our ancestors, those who truly cherished this country, not those who undermine it daily…
